Theme: Smart Cities and Green Mobility
China's urbanization rate has exceeded 60%, and cities with over 1 million population have reached 90. The rapid development of motorization has been accompanied by traffic congestion and air pollution. Europe on the other hand, is taking measures to overcome these challenges, by means of its new growth strategy that transforms the Union into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy, the European Green deal. That involves a greener transport sector, smarter traffic management led and multimodality. The successful experiences and challenges in China and Europe will be discussed in this webinar while best practices in the development of greener transportation systems and innovation encouraging green mobility, and economic leverage strategies will also be discussed by experts in the panel.
